With a Home-Joy membership, you are assigned a dedicated handyperson who can visit your home up to twice each membership month. Each visit lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes, with the final 15 minutes allocated for cleanup and app documentation. You have the option to combine your two visits into a single 3.5-hour session, subject to availability. Your handyperson will tackle tasks on your to-do list, conduct proactive maintenance, and offer suggestions to keep your home in top shape. All handyman labor is included, with no additional fee per visit for regular handyman services. Membership pricing varies by location, starting at $246/month for an annual plan and $295/month for a monthly plan. If you need parts purchased on your behalf, we can handle that for a small shopping fee associated with the visit.

Additionally, you have access to the Homejoy team of experts. For larger jobs requiring specialists or unexpected issues, Homejoy can source vendors and manage the process for you. Please note that the cost of these specialty vendors will be billed to you. The same applies to built-in appliances; if one breaks down, Honey Homes can arrange for an appliance specialist to repair it or recommend a replacement.

You’ll also gain access to the Homejoy App, where you can book appointments, message your handyman and our team with questions anytime, and update your to-do list with new tasks.

Homejoy’s skilled handymen and handywomen are equipped to handle minor electrical and plumbing tasks, along with a variety of standard household jobs that can be completed in under 1.5 hours per visit.

Our team is capable of independently completing 95% of tasks. For those rare instances requiring a specialist, we will connect you with the appropriate vendor and manage the coordination on your behalf. Any additional costs incurred will be passed on to you.

Yes, there is a Give $150, Get $150 referral program. Members earn a $150 credit for each new member they refer who signs up for a Home Joy membership. This credit will be applied to their upcoming invoice(s) from Honey Homes. To refer a friend or neighbor, simply go to the Profile tab in the Home Joy mobile app.
